The cottage is available for occupation
as from 4pm on the day of arrival.

We ask that
you please vacate the property by no later than 10am on the day of
departure.

These timings are to permit our
housekeeper, who has a very tight schedule on Saturdays,
sufficient time to clean and service the cottage between
lets.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at
Creag Ghlas by
prior arrangement.
-
We ask that you please ensure that your dog is not
allowed on the furniture and will not cause any damage.
-
As children may be staying in the
property and playing in the garden, we would be
extremely grateful if you would please clean up
after your dog.
-
This is a
crofting area where sheep are reared, so it is important that dogs
should be kept under control at all times.

For the benefit of other visitors to
Creag Ghlas,
we ask that you please refrain from smoking inside the property.

We reserve the right to levy an
additional charge for extra cleaning and/or
re-decoration if this request is ignored.

In order to make a confirmed booking, we need to have a
completed Booking Form together with a cheque payment for a deposit of
20% of the cost of your holiday.

The balance of the payment for your
holiday is then payable 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

If the
start of your holiday is less than 6 weeks away at the time of booking,
we need payment in full with your Booking Form.

Creag Ghlas has 2 bedrooms and will sleep
4 - 5 people.
-
There are
two bedrooms both on the upper floor.
-
Both bedrooms have double beds
but the larger room also has a single futon sofa
bed.
-
The bathroom is on the
ground floor and has been fully modernised. There is a WC, bath, electric shower
over the bath, wash hand basin and electric
shaver point.
-
Downstairs, there is a comfortable sitting
room which has a traditional fireplace with electric
coal-effect stove. There are two leather
settees, a 3-seater and a 2-seater and a colour
TV with built-in DVD player.

There is also a separate
good-sized dining room which has a traditional
fireplace with electric fire. The dining table
has seating for 4 people. There are also 3
casual chairs and an attractive oak dresser.

There is a well equipped modern kitchen which has plenty of cupboard space
and worktop area. There is a
list of kitchen equipment below.

All the rooms to the front of the house have
superb views across the loch.

Outside, there is a pleasant lawned garden
surrounded by a hedge and a gate at the roadside. The garden is
therefore enclosed for dogs.

There is
good off-road parking in the drive to the side of the cottage.

Additionally, there is a
good-sized parking bay at the roadside in front
of the cottage.

All
parking in Lochcarron village is free of charge, and with very minimal
restrictions.

Bed linen is provided and included
in the tariff for the house.

Towels are not provided and
you should therefore bring your own towels with you, please.

The kitchen is well equipped with
electric hob and electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

There is
no freezer in the property.

Other appliances comprise
toaster, sandwich maker and food mixer.

The
bathroom is on the ground floor of the cottage

The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower
above.

There is a WC
in the bathroom.

There is a TV
with built-in DVD in the sitting room.
-
There is another TV in the
dining room.
-
In the dining room there is
also a mini Hi-Fi system comprising a CD player,
tuner and cassette deck.

N.B. FM radio signals in
Lochcarron are very weak, often non-existent,
due to the mountainous terrain.
-
As there is a booster
transmitter just across the loch from Lochcarron
village, TV signals are usually of reasonable
quality.

There is no phone in the cottage.
-
Mobile phones operating
on O2 (formerly
Cellnet), Vodafone or Orange work well in Lochcarron village and in
many parts of the surrounding area.

Several other mobile networks which are
subsidiaries to the above also work well in the
area.
